In 1986 Iggy covered Johnny O Keefe's song "The wild one" on his "Blah Blah Blah" album. In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australia's first rock hit, Iggy Pop and the band JET have recorded another version of the song.

Iggy & The Stooges will perform a tribute to Madonna at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony next week (10.03.08). VH1 Classic will air the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony LIVE on Monday, March 10 at 8:30 PM/ET.
